A millennial-focused brand that celebrates stamina, Sommarøy is named after a Norwegian island where the summer sun never sets – a perfect place where darkness refuses to spoil the fun.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Two innovative entrepreneurs were crafting a groundbreaking line of lower-proof spirits. Together, we identified the target consumers for this unexplored category and positioned the brand for launch using our Brand Compass and point-of-view methodology.
THE COLLABORATION
Inspired by our brand idea of making the most of the moment, we crafted a suite of custom labels inspired by a paused hourglass. We launched the Sommarøy brand with a website, custom investor deck, social media kickstart, and influencer promotion.

Upon launch, Sommarøy quickly earned shelf presence at Whole Foods locations nationwide. In 2022, Sommarøy’s packaging was awarded a Gold Medal at the International Harper’s Design Awards.
